IKEA STEEL KITCHEN PART 2

This is how our steel kitchen from Ikea turned out. The counter top is made concrete on site. The kitchen is still in progress.

This kitchens is the old system that IKEA just change to a new and more flexible system.

This Christmas is in the rainbow

It´s been three years sense we had Christmas at “home”. So we are very eager to get starting whit the decorations. Coming from an old house whit a 1920 style to our new house that is a bit of everything. We decided to get more eclectic this year less traditional in our decorations.

Moved in!

I´m back! Opps it´s been a long time sense I posted anything on this blog. Time fly’s with moving in and all other stuff that’s been going on.

And woops it’s nearly Christmas again… and looking back on this year it’s hard to think that a year ago we had all the troubles in the world whit our building site. But all things comes to end and finally here we are in our new house!!!

There are of course some works to finish both outside and inside but we are slowly getting there.

Stairs!

This it what it all came too. 
We had it custom made with Berzetti KB.

Although our floor is fake oak, we are happy with the result of the staircases color they are made of real oak and so is the stair handles.

Time to pick the stairs!

Finally the snow is gone and spring has come to stay!

Now our time has come to pick the stairs. This has been spinning my mind for quite some time now. How to get a cool, good-looking staircase that has a statement and still is just there to welcome you between the different floors?

My idea is to get a staircase that has a classical approach but with a rufer twist to it.

My dream staircase is an old fashion iron balustrade, often seen in France and England.

Up her in Scandinavia noop... cant´t find nothing like it.

And now time is running and I need to get a stir in before July.

Laundry room

So what can be done here?  This room is our laundry room and technique room.

I’m tempted to use TEAL color in my utility room.

Will it look to dark in room without windows?

Or should I go for grey and fuchsia? I would love to hear what you think.
